Data and Facility Security

Time Customer Service, Inc. (TCS) is committed to providing quality data and physical security, and enforces those measures 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Physical security includes security guards and electronic access controls.  Data security controls include computerized access controls and encryption tools.

Data Center Security

Access to the data center area is limited to authorized personnel and is based on their specific job requirements.  In addition, visitors to the restricted areas must be logged and escorted.

The equipment rooms have numerous security and safety features, including state-of-the-art environmental controls and recovery procedures.  These include glass breakage detectors, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and security cameras.  The Data Center Command Center is staffed around the clock.

File Security

TCS has a central security administration group which implements access controls according to data owner specifications.  Access to sensitive files is based on a "need to know" basis, i.e., specific job requirements.  The security procedures allow for:

  • Identifying and verifying users
  • Authorizing users' access
  • Logging and reporting attempts of unauthorized access
  • Auditing

Only authorized personnel are able to run NCOALink™ processing or access NCOALink™  Client files

Secure File Transfer

TCS supports file transfer mechanisms to securely and reliably exchange data with Clients.  Supported protocols include HTTP/S (SSL) and SFTP.  In addition, with the exchange of public keys TCS can also support the use of  PGP encryption for files.
